Extendable table structure

Anodised extruded aluminium with internal metal frame and runners on extruded aluminium tracks. Telescopic cover profile of the extendable table in extruded plastic.

Glass top

Transparent or etched extra light glass, tempered, th. 6 mm, painted in colours in the Molteni range.

Wood top and extensions

Composite panel of medium density fibre and aluminium sheets, th. 1mm, covered in wood veneer or FENIX NTM® laminate.

Wood particleboard panel with painted melamine facing.

Medium density fibre composite panel with external surface in anodised aluminium sheet, th. 1mm.

In aluminium shiny brushed, chromed, painted or clad in sliced wood. Internal metal brace and foot in non-slip plastic.

MAINTENANCE OF WOODEN AND GLASS PARTS
For everyday maintenance dust with a soft dry cloth. For greasy, oily marks (fingerprints) we advise cleaning the surface with alcohol diluted in water, drying immediately with a soft cloth. For glass, specific products readily available on the market can be used. Products containing acetone, bleach and solvents should be avoided, as should abrasive products, furniture wax and hard fibre cloths (linen and synthetics) which could ruin and/or scratch surfaces. All these operations should be carried out with great care, avoiding heavy pressure. Exposure to direct sunlight can alter the wood colour.

MAINTENANCE OF ALUMINIUM PARTS
In order to maintain the aesthetic characteristics of these finishes over time and avoid rust, regular, methodical and meticulous cleaning is necessary. For everyday maintenance, dust with a soft dry cloth. For greasy oily marks (fingerprints) we advise cleaning the surfaces with normal liquid detergents for glass. Products containing
solvents and/or alcohol and hard fibre cloths (linen and synthetics) should be avoided, as they could ruin and/or scratch surfaces. Treat polished aluminium and chromed metal finishes monthly with specific products for cleaning/polishing metals.

Rodolfo Dordoni, architect and designer, was born in Milan, where he graduated in Architecture. His collaboration with Molteni&C has gone beyond the production of individual products and has become the creation of a collection for the dining room and night systems.
