Born in Sicily, architect and designer Elisa Ossino founded her eponymous design studio in Milan in 2006 following her studies at the Polytechnic University of Milan. Combining research in metaphysical and surrealist references, the designer’s work favors clean lines and elegant geometries that translate into three dimensions with a scenographic impact and an atmospheric quality. Nurturing a deep interest in the inherent value of craftsmanship and its ability to produce unique results, Elisa Ossino Studio carries out rigorous material experimentation inspired by circular economy principles. Ossino is the recipient of a host of Italian and international awards, including the Red Dot Award in the Best of the Best category, Honorable Mention at Compasso d’Oro ADI, the iF Design Award, and Elle Décor Italy’s Best of Interiors, among others.
