Created in exclusive collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archive, each Object captures the essence of Ponti's iconic architectural style on an individual scale. Highlighting the master Italian designer’s fascination with unique materials and their creative potential, the pieces capture the authenticity of his artistic musings.

Ponti viewed domestic spaces as a stage where the theater of life takes place. His Objects infuse any space with a whimsical narrative that animates the everyday.

The distinctive designs for Cavallo, Colombo, Architettura, La Mano, Pompei and 7Tubi are crafted from luminous stainless steel. With Bottiglie, Gio Ponti focused on wood, exploring its ability to evolve over time and its unique characteristics.

The master was also deeply enamored with the ancient Etruscan ceramic technique, Bucchero, and its refined process resulting in a deep black color, which is both rare and precious.

Ponti’s partnership with Buccheri Antonio Rossi Workshop brought about his unique Bucchero creations in the 1950’s following this ancient Etruscan technique from the 7th century a.C. Today, Molteni&C works with the same artisan — the last living Bucchero master — to preserve this traditional craft so dear to Gio Ponti.
