D.154.2 Armchairs

The D.154.2 armchair, originally designed by Gio Ponti for Villa Planchart in Caracas in Venezuela, is an enduring masterpiece that led the designer to win the 2024 Compasso d'Oro Career Award for Products.

Nowadays, as a Molteni&C icon, the armchair looks like a cozy shell with a rigid polyurethane frame, a soft polyurethane counter-frame and a cushion, and is upholstered in the Molteni&C textile range, with the option of differentiating the three component parts.
